Overview

Fast, measured and safe filling at CNG and CBG sites

LCV fill posts transfer high-pressure gas from a compressor or storage cascade into mobile cascades, light commercial vehicles and cars. A decant post does the reverse — drawing gas from a mobile cascade into station storage or a booster.

Every Urjika fill post is built on a powder-coated steel column with a weatherproof instrument enclosure, SS 316 tubing and fittings, a high-accuracy pressure gauge and thermoplastic high-pressure hoses. Choose single arm, dual arm or the auto-cut system, with or without a Coriolis mass flowmeter for custody measurement.

Product range

Four configurations for every site

Single Arm
Compact · Reliable
Single Arm
One filling arm with Coriolis flowmeter — the most common choice for CBG plants and mother stations.
Dual Arm
Higher throughput
Dual Arm
Two independent arms fill two cascades or vehicles at once for maximum station efficiency.
Auto-cut @ 200 bar
Automatic
Auto-cut @ 200 bar
Pressure sensor and solenoid valve stop filling automatically at 200 bar — ideal for vehicle filling.
24 V DC control
NGV nozzle
Without Flowmeter
Economical
Without Flowmeter
For in-house transfers where custody metering is not required — same safety, lower cost.

How auto-cut works

Filling stops itself at 200 bar

01
Connect nozzle
Operator connects NGV nozzle and opens the fill valve
02
Filling starts
Gas flows through the flowmeter to the vehicle
03
Pressure monitored
Pressure sensor continuously reads outlet pressure
04
Automatic shut-off
Solenoid valve closes at 200 bar — no over-filling
Applications

Where our fill posts are used

CBG Plants
Filling mobile cascades after compression for offtake.
CNG Mother Stations
Filling LCV/MCV mounted cascades for daughter stations.
Fleet Depots
Company LCV fleets and operational vehicles.
Decanting
Transferring gas from mobile cascades into station storage.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q.Can I buy a fill post without a flowmeter?
Yes. For internal transfers where custody measurement is not needed, we supply the fill post without a flowmeter. It can be upgraded with a Coriolis meter later.
Q.Why choose the auto-cut system?
The auto-cut system closes a solenoid valve automatically when the vehicle reaches 200 bar, preventing over-filling and reducing dependence on operator attention.
Q.What is the difference between a fill post and a decant post?
A fill post fills cascades or vehicles from a compressor or storage. A decant post draws gas out of a mobile cascade into station storage or a booster. Our posts can be configured for either duty.
Q.Is the fill post SCADA compatible?
Yes. The Coriolis flowmeter supports Modbus RS485 communication for integration with station SCADA.
Specifications are indicative and may vary with project requirements, applicable codes and approvals. Final data is confirmed in the project datasheet.
